Solar systems can be expensive, much like other systems in your home.  Most people finance their homes because paying cash is simply out of the question.  Solar energy is a component, much like HVAC or plumbing, and you rarely hear of people paying cash for their "plumbing."  If you have the means to personally finance the project, then you may not need any alterntives.  If you don't want to spend that much right now, you can consider financing through several means.  The first choice would be through any of several online solar financing programs.  We can recommend one if interested. Some customers use their local bank and apply for a home improvement loan.  We recommend a term of at least 10 years, but 15 is usually optimal if the interest rates are good. We can provide 12-16 months "same as cash" financing if needed.
